Projects
Since 1990, International Casino Services has set up, managed, consulted for and supplied casino equipment to numerous gaming operations throughout Asia and the South Pacific.
ICS manages the Palms Casino, located at the Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu on behalf of the hotel owners. The Palms caters to both local players and international tourists, and ICS has managed the casino since 1990. The casino comprises 8 gaming tables and 50 slot machines. ICS implemented all gaming policies and procedures, employed and trained all gaming and cash desk staff and procured all gaming and surveillance equipment.
International Casino Services has provided expertise to Galaxy Casinos (Macau) being key to the opening of their first four casinos in Macau and Cotai. ICS was instrumental in the pre-opening phase of the casinos, when it implemented dealer training schools, purchased operational equipment for all casino related departments and implemented all of the junket and commission play programs that are currently in use. Galaxy opened the first of it's casino operations, The Waldo Hotel and Casino, with immediate success in 2004, with three more casinos opened in 2006.
In 2005, ICS provided its knowledge and services to one of the consortium bidding for the right to operate an Integrated Resort and Casino in Singapore. ICS prepared the gaming component of the Request for Concept document submitted to the Singapore Tourist Board. The scope of its services included revenue forecasts, capital expenditure forecasts, harm minimization strategy and table and gaming machine mix. A number of different scenarios were submitted on the two IR projects proposed by the Singapore government, in line with the requirements of the STB.
